Terms of Service

Last updated: May 25, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Crade Technology OÜ (“Crade”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in the Republic of Estonia, governing your use of the Crade desktop application for macOS and Windows, the Crade web account, and related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Crade is an AI-powered screen assistant. When you ask a question, Crade captures a snapshot of your active screen and sends it, together with your text, to an AI provider — either Google Gemini through Crade's API account, or to your own provider if you have signed in with Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. The AI returns a textual reply. Crade itself does not click or type on your screen. However, if you have signed in with Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, those providers' tools may perform actions within the workspace folder you select (such as editing files or running commands) — governed by your provider's capabilities and their terms.

2. Your account

You need a Crade account to use Crade's default AI. Alternatively, you can sign in with your existing Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT or Codex), or Google (Gemini) account — free or paid — and use it inside Crade. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Crade.

3. Plans, credits, and billing

  • Free plan. 100 credits per day. Credits reset at midnight UTC. Unused credits do not roll over.
  • Pro plan. 1,000 credits per day for $7.99 per month, billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel at any time in account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods except where required by law.
  • When you sign in with Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. Crade credits are not consumed. AI usage is governed by the provider you signed in with, under their terms — whether on a free or paid plan. You are responsible for any provider costs you incur and for compliance with that provider's acceptable use policy.

We may change pricing or credit allocations from time to time, with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or to violate the rights of others;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service;
  • use automated tools, scripts, or scraping techniques to exceed usage limits or evade access controls;
  • share your account credentials, or use Crade as a shared multi-user terminal under a single account;
  • intentionally use Crade to process highly sensitive information such as passwords, payment details, government identifiers, or medical records (see also our Privacy Policy, Section 8);
  • use the Service to generate content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or designed to harm others.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.

5. AI output disclaimer

Crade's AI replies are generated by third-party AI models (Gemini when you sign in with Crade, or your chosen provider otherwise). AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or outdated. Crade is a guidance tool, not a substitute for professional advice. You are responsible for verifying any information, computation, or action that AI output suggests, particularly in domains such as law, health, finance, security, and engineering.

6. Third-party providers

When you sign in with Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, your use of that provider is also governed by that provider's terms of service and privacy policy. You are responsible for reading and complying with those terms. Crade is not a party to your relationship with the third-party provider, and is not responsible for the provider's pricing, availability, or output.

7. Intellectual property

You own your Inputs and the rights to use the AI Outputs as permitted by the AI provider's terms. Crade owns the Service itself — the application, the website, the brand, and all related content not provided by you. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crade shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, business, goodwill, or savings, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Crade's total aggregate liability for any claim under these Terms is limited to the greater of (i) the amount you paid Crade in the twelve months preceding the claim or (ii) one hundred euros (EUR 100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions the limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 8, 10, and 11) will survive.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Estonia, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence require otherwise.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you through the app or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
